Donations are crucial for Welthungerhilfe’s fight against hunger and poverty. Our goal #zerohunger can only be achieved with many partners & supporters. As Account Manager, you will look after major donors who can make a significant contribution to achieving our global goals.

Your responsibilities

You will build donor impacting relationships with wealthy individuals by

• Looking after a group of Welthungerhilfe’s major donors
• Developing concepts and measures to bind donors to Welthungerhilfe and to further develop their commitment
• Developing convincing new offers for your target group together with our colleagues at Head Office and abroad
• Analysing data and donor feedback and draw the right conclusions for further measures
• Reviewing and optimising campaigns for impact
• Following trends in major donor fundraising and deriving innovative measures

Your profile

• Completed university/college degree or comparable qualification
• Several years of relevant professional experience e.g. in marketing, sales, development cooperation or fundraising
• Creativity and an independent, proactive way of working
• The ability to represent Welthungerhilfe externally
• Willingness to go on business trips occasionally
• Strong communication skills in written and spoken German and English
