Our Cambodia Office is seeking for three (01) qualified candidates to fill in the position below

Position:          Accountant

Location:         National Office, Phnom Penh

Salary:              Negotiable

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

World Vision International-Cambodia is a Christian organization committed to working with poor and vulnerable people. One of WVI-C’s core values is “we are stewards”. So this position is a core function to ensure that all financial transactions are compliant with the policies/guidelines to bring confidence from donors to use those funding resources in transparency, stewarding, effectiveness, and efficiency.

The beneficiaries are located in the National Office and Regional staff and play an important role in leading the preparation Field Finance Report package for WVI-C.

This position is primarily to provide financial services to all departments/projects based in WVI-C National Office to promote good stewardship and policy compliance with service satisfaction.

II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversight monthly aging report for National Office specifically on accounts 200, 230, 250, and 260
• Support in annual budget preparation (unit budget)
• Payment process to suppliers (Coupa)

• Booking and Clear (S3901) account for cost of NSSF, PCIS, Concur &Insurance

• Cash Disbursement – Review All (National Office support function) expenses through Coupa

• Cash disbursement- Review all card forms (finance transaction) – Drop from Cashier

III. REQUIREMENTS:

As part of the World Vision International-Cambodia mandate requirements for new staff, all candidates who are offered a job are required to produce Local Police Clearance Certificate prior to the date of joining the organization.

• At least 1-year accounting experience in NGO
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Strong computer skills especially in a spreadsheet and word processing
• Good oral and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work as a team and individually
• Work under pressure, highly self-motivated
• Good at analytical knowledge
