Administrative Associate
Organizational Setting and Work Relationships
The Administrative Associate is responsible for the office management in assisting the concerned manager in the implementation of general administrative and resource management tasks.
The Administrative Associate is normally supervised by a (Senior) Administrative Officer or a National Administrative Officer who defines general work objectives and provides necessary advice and guidance. The incumbent may supervise some support staff. S/he keeps frequent contacts with staff at various levels in the office and occasionally with staff at the same level in other duty stations and/or Headquarters; with local suppliers and/or officials and/or partners on subject matters which may be of importance to the Organization.

Desired Candidate Profile
Nature of Position
The position of Admin, based in Kadugli humanitarian inter-agency Hub reports to the Head of Office. The incumbent is expected to maintain the office’s assets in good conditions and as per the applicable standards. The incumbent will be required conduct regular field missions in Kordofan (as required), amongst others, as part of inter-agency missions or UNHCR’s field missions, to assess/improve the UNHCR’s premises/facilities. Sound understanding and knowledge of local dynamics would be an asset.
The incumbent is expected to join the duty station upon their appointment.
DCP
Knowledge of UNHCR working software-Cloud ERP, Workday.
Knowledge in managing guest house accommodation including online booking system Knowledge of Fleet management and Fleet wave.
Knowledge of system travel request, travel advances and travel claims in Cloud ERP Knowledge in excel and data analyzing
Coordination and ability to remotely support other offices in Kordofan’s.
Reading and writing in English
Additional Assets:
• Familiarity of UNHCR’s operations in Kordofan’s.
• Negotiation skills
