Purpse of Job
The Analyst is a member of the Country Economics, Strategy and Policy team (CESP) of the Policy Strategy and Delivery (PSD) Department of the Vice Presidency Policy & Partnerships.
The Analyst, CESP, provides support to the Associate Director (Lead Regional Economist) on macroeconomic and structural reform analysis and policy advice for one of the Bank’s sub-regions, encompassing Türkiye and the Russian Federation.
Given the exceptionally high degree of focus on the region in which this role is based, and the regular demands from senior management, he or she is expected to show strong initiative and to take the lead on briefings and other requests.
The role will involve liaison with other teams within the Bank, and externally, notably with the Turkish authorities in Ankara and other analysts covering the countries.
