Based in The Hague, Netherlands you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour.
The Chief Operational Analysis Centre is accountable to the Chief Operating Officer for the provision of operational analysis services to support NATO and National planning and decision making. The Operational Analysis Centre also supports the other centres within NCI Agency with operational requirements and their validation, and other internal Agency requirements.
You will support the Operational Analysis (OA) to carry out analysis and development activities, particularly in the Defence Planning area. You will develop methods and conduct operational analyses for joint and combined planning, requirements and capabilities identification, concept development support and analysis and improvement of organisational effectiveness (structures and staff processes) and you will develop analytic models, simulations and decision aids for analysis, evaluation, and experimentation.

About you
We are looking for a talented and knowledgeable Operational Analyst with Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline (such as Operations Research/Analysis, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related natural or applied science) and 2 years of post-related experience.
A different qualification coupled with particularly relevant experience may also be considered.
You should also have:
· Experience in the development of Operations Research/Analysis supporting models and tools, staff decision aids, databases, data collection and/or survey tools
· Experience in the application of Operations Research/Analysis techniques (such as structured problem analysis, statistical analysis, simulation and optimisation)
· Ability to work and communicate effectively within a team
Knowledge of English, both written and spoken, is essential.
