01 The Job
As the Area Fundraising Director, you will effectively collaborate within the Church and Ministry Partnership Teams to invite pastors and congregants into God’s transforming and renewing work of justice and mercy for the elimination of extreme poverty. Responsible to raise long-term donor value of $1.5M each year. Establish, maintain and grow relationships with church pastors, denominations, national Christian leaders, and para church organizations to meet annual Team World Vision fundraising goals. Increase fundraising and partner/donor participation year-over-year by calling them to a life-changing commitment to serve the poor in the name of Christ. Help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.

04 You Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (eight years) work experience. In addition to education or educational equivalent, a minimum of 5 or more years of practical, specialized work experience in fundraising, ministry, partner management, marketing and/or sales. Specific background in athletic fundraising preferred. Knowledge of, and previous work experience with, church and/or athletic communities preferred. Knowledge of, and previous work experience with, church and/or athletic communities may be required. Athletic fundraising work experience highly desirable.
05 Salary Range & Benefits
The full range for this position is $82,633 – $131,997 annually. This applies to locations with a market similar to our U.S. HQ in the Greater Seattle area. A different range may apply based on your work location. Typical hiring range is $87,000 – $107,500 annually. Job offers within the range are based on relevant job qualifications and pay equity.
