The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is seeking a highly qualified, experienced, and dynamic Area Manager South Sudan Mankien
More About the Role.
The Area Manager will ensure high quality and cost-efficient programme and project implementation within the designated areas of operation and will represent NRC at coordination forums. The position leads the Area Management Group and is a member of the Country Management Group.
What you will do
Member of the Country Management Group (CMG).
Provide area specific input to Sector Strategies, Country Strategy and Plan of Action.
Organise grants opening, review and closure meetings at area level.
Implementation of projects (including master support budget and coordinating input for donor proposals and reports), in compliance with contractual commitments (i.e. quality, synergies, timeliness, use of resources).

What you will bring
Minimum 3 years of experience from working as a Senior Project Manager in a humanitarian/recovery context
Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities
Knowledge about own leadership skills/profile
Fluency in English, both written and verbal
What we offer
Duty station: Unity State, South Sudan.
Contract: 12 months with a posibility of extension
Travel:30%
Salary/benefits: Grade 10 on NRC’s salary scale, with accompanying terms and conditions.
