Position: Ashoka Globalizer Program and Event Management intern position

Time: Preferably full-time commitment (flexible arrangements may be considered), immediate start. Initial contract for 6 months, with potential for extension to another 6 months.

Location:Potentially any Ashoka office, subject to local team confirmation.

About Ashoka Globalizer:

Globalizer is more than a program; it’s a global movement. We’re seeking a passionate, creative, and organized intern to join our team. In this role, you will support the Ashoka Globalizer team with program data management, data analysis and research. The intern role is defined by supporting and working with different team leads depending on the specific tasks.

You will join a global, agile and very virtual Ashoka Globalizer team (Spain, Germany, USA, Malta, Turkey, India, Kenya, Russia and Greece).

What you will do:

You will work closely with Ashoka Globalizer´s Flagship management team in key operations areas:

Participants’ selection:

  • Lead role in logistics and coordination of an online selection processfor program participants(internal and external communication, etc.)
  • Support tasks related to mapping of potential candidates (social entrepreneurs and corporate volunteer thought partners)
  • Support tasks preparing comms materials (outreach materials, confirmation letters, PowerPoint presentations, etc.)

Program Management overall:

  • Program infrastructure set-up and launch
  • Participants’ coordination including direct accompaniment of teams participating in our flagship program
  • Create/update program materials
  • Create/update communication templates
  • Tech Hosting online events (launch event, workshops, etc..)

Event Management overall:

  • Support with online and physical events organization
  • Participants’ coordination – attendance coordination and other logistics
  • Create/update events materials
  • Create/update events related communication templates (PowerPoints presentations, participant packs, etc.)

Required Skills:

  • Native or fluent English
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented
  • Able to work productively, proactively and independently, on own initiative in a virtual set-up

Education and work experience:

  • Intermediate or higher level of command of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams etc.)
  • Studies or work experience related to program and/ or event management very much welcome
  • Experience hosting/ coordinating online events (desirable, not a must)
