ANTECEDENTES Y PROPOSITO DE LA ASIGNACION:

El Programa Mundial de Alimentos (WFP) de las Naciones Unidas es el mayor organismo humanitario de lucha contra el hambre del mundo. En Colombia, el apoyo que WFP brinda al gobierno nacional responden a los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenibles (ODS) 2 y 17 haciendo uso de herramientas innovadoras tales como transferencias en dinero y compra local de alimentos a través de asociaciones de agricultores. Las actividades del PMA en Colombia se concentran en las poblaciones más vulnerables, que incluye víctimas de la violencia, comunidades marginadas y grupos étnicos. El objetivo es reconstruir y fortalecer sus fuentes de subsistencia, asegurando que tengan adecuado acceso en todo momento a dietas nutritivas y diversas e incrementando su capacidad para recuperarse y adaptarse a los cambios climáticos. Esto se hace de manera progresiva a través del desarrollo de las capacidades de autoridades locales para implementar programas responsables que contribuyan a reducir la inseguridad alimentaria y la malnutrición.

Bajo la supervisión del/la Asociado Senior de Programas, el titular del puesto debe llevar a cabo con supervisión mínima y realizar un trabajo organizado y preciso, encargándose de actividades específicas de apoyo operativo. Cabe también la posibilidad de que proporcionen orientación sobre prácticas estándar a funcionarios menos experimentados en su esfera de actividad.

OBJETIVO:

Llevar a término procesos de apoyo operativo estándar en relación con una esfera profesional específica, con el fin de facilitar la prestación eficaz de servicios.

RESPONSABILIDADES:

• Reunir información destinada claramente a servir de base para la redacción de documentos y la preparación de informes por parte de otros miembros del personal.
• Responder a consultas y remitirlas, cuando proceda, a los niveles superiores, con el fin de prestar un servicio oportuno y correcto a los clientes.
• Prestar apoyo al procesamiento y gestión de tareas administrativas y financieras ordinarias en diversas esferas funcionales, para contribuir a la gestión eficaz y oportuna de los recursos.
• Prestar servicios de revisión y corrección de documentos estándar, para contribuir a la elaboración de documentación exacta.
• Encargarse del mantenimiento de los sistemas y archivos estándar establecidos para garantizar que la información sea precisa y esté fácilmente disponible para la función de que se trate.
• Detectar discrepancias sencillas en las estadísticas y los datos, como información faltante, y comunicarlas a funcionarios de categoría superior para ayudar a los clientes a realizar su trabajo.
• Encargarse de la integridad de los datos para facilitar la disponibilidad de información precisa en los sistemas institucionales.
• Proporcionar orientación sobre métodos y prácticas ordinarios de apoyo operativo a los colegas menos experimentados para velar por que los servicios se presten de forma coherente y de acuerdo con los requisitos establecidos.
• Trabajar con una gran variedad de personas, recabando retroinformación, cuando proceda, para ayudar en la prestación de apoyo operativo al personal.
• Efectuar otras actividades requeridas a solicitud del supervisor y que estén en línea con la finalidad del cargo.

CALIFICACIONES Y EXPERIENCIA REQUERIDA

Educación:

Finalización del ciclo de educación secundaria. Deseable, título profesional en temas administrativos, contables o afines a las funciones del cargo.

Experiencia Específica Deseable:

• Cuatro (4) años como mínimo de experiencia en la esfera operativa correspondiente al área programática, con experiencia en tareas administrativas de carácter general.
• Experiencia de trabajo con funciones parecidas en el marco de programas y proyectos de asistencia humanitaria y/o para el desarrollo será valorada positivamente.
• Experiencia en operaciones de terreno preferiblemente en contextos complejos, asistencia humanitaria o en situaciones de emergencia con énfasis en población migrante, grupos étnicos, población víctima y trabajo en contexto de Violencia Basada en Género.
• Conocimiento de la zona de cobertura de la Oficina de Terreno.
• Capacidad de uso de computadores y de office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Experiencia en el uso de sistemas basados en la WEB, así como plataformas corporativas.

Idiomas:

Dominio, hablado y escrito, del español. Nivel intermedio de inglés.
