The EIB, the European Union’s bank, is seeking to recruit for its Operations Directorate (OPS), Baltic Sea and Northern Europe Department (BSNE) – Public Sector – Poland and Baltic States Division (3-PUB SEC) at its headquarters in Luxembourg, a (Associate) Banker – Public Sector*.
This is a full position at grade 4/5 for which the EIB offers a permanent contract.

Panel interviews are anticipated for June 2023.
As an (Associate) Banker – Public Sector, you will contribute to the development and execution of the Division’s business plan by providing support to more senior colleagues with identification, appraisal, negotiation, and monitoring of public sector lending operations in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia according to EIB policies and procedures and with the objective to contribute to EU Policy goals.
You will report to the Head of BNSE-3 division and collaborate closely with colleagues of the BSNE Department as well as in other teams of the Bank involved in such transactions Legal (JU), Group Risk & Compliance (GR&OCCO), Projects (PJ), Portfolio Management and Monitoring (PMM).
You will also interact with potential and existing counterparts as well as other stakeholders (IFIs, treasurers’ associations, consultancy firms, etc.), colleagues from the EIF and colleagues based in the external offices.
