Position Title: Associate Director, Growth Marketing

Reports to: Director, Digital Engagement and Response

Location: Remote US or Boston, MA, approximately 5% travel

Employment Type: Full time

 

Position Overview:

The Associate Director, Growth Marketing will play a crucial role in driving growth at Partners In Health (PIH), ensuring we have the necessary resources and support to build upon our critical mission. Reporting to the Director of Digital Engagement and Response, the Associate Director works across the resource generating branch leading the development and execution of innovative strategies to acquire new supporters and expand our network of donors and advocates. They collaborate heavily with the Strategic Information Systems (SIS) team and outside data partners to ensure the right data infrastructure is in place and is used to fuel growth by enabling meaningful action from analysis of supporter information, behavior, and testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive accelerated revenue growth by optimizing top-of-the-funnel activities to increase lead acquisition and conversions.
  • Use consumer insights and targeted testing to determine the optimal channel mix, budget, journey, and message to increase conversion. Partner with channel managers to adjust accordingly.
  • Conduct market research and analyze data to identify trends, insights, and potential target audiences for new supporter acquisition.
  • Define PIH “superfans” — who they are, how best to target them, and what message they respond to.
  • Create a feedback loop with channel managers and creative/content team.
  • Regularly test and enhance journeys to create the best user experience.
  • Report on progress toward meeting defined growth goals by channel.
  • Partner with the SIS team to ensure data infrastructure provides actionable insights.
  • Manage the building and monitoring of relevant dashboards to share supporter insights across relevant teams.
  • Lead the identification and leveraging of opportunities to expand our supporter base through targeted marketing campaigns, partnerships, events, and other creative initiatives. Make recommendations to managers for activation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years experience, including 4-5 years of proven experience leading acquisition strategies
  • Data-driven, audience-centric approach
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Prior experience working with large data sets to provide actionable insights.
  • Prior experience with analytics and testing tools (e.g. Google Analytic, Power BI)
  • Excellent knowledge of acquisition channels (paid, owned, earned)
  • Commitment to global health and social justice
