The EIB, the European Union’s bank, is seeking to recruit for its Group Corporate Services Directorate (GCS), Budget and Vendor Management Division (BVM), Budget, Contract & Vendor Management Unit (BCV) at its headquarters in Luxembourg, (Associate) IT Contract/Vendor Managers*.
These are full-time positions at grade 4/5 for which the EIB offers a permanent contract.

Panel interviews are anticipated for beginning of March / April 2024.
You will drive the contract management processes for IT, Digital & Data contracts, including supporting contract owners, managing stakeholder relationships and vendor discussions/negotiations, planning, executing and reporting on contracts to ensure timely and compliant processing.
The Budget Contract and Vendor Management Unit provides high quality and cost-efficient solutions through effective sourcing strategies and execution activities. The unit provides services to the Group Digital Office (GDO) but also to other parts of EIB in need of services covered by our contracts.
The Group Digital Office manages an annual budget of around 200 million EUR to purchase complex external products and services (hardware and software, consultancy, maintenance, technical support, telecommunication, etc.) from around 200 active framework agreements and contracts.
You will report to the Head of the Budget, Contract and Vendor Management Unit, and work closely with other members of the Group Digital Office, Group Corporate Services and the EIB Group in relation to procurement and management of contracts.

Any language clause in your contract must be fulfilled in order for you to be eligible for a promotion (either via the annual appraisal cycle or via an internal selection process). Proficiency is understood to mean the attainment of level 5 of the Inter Institutional language courses, corresponding to B1.2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL).
