Purpose of Job

This role will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of Corporate Services data ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality and delivers valuable insights to our colleague and customers.

The role is responsible for managing data governance processes to ensure the reliability, consistency and quality of Corporate Services data. This role will create and manage data products that transform data into actionable insights. This role requires a blend of technical, analytical expertise and project management skills.

The role works closely with the Corporate Services SME’s to design, develop and maintain data reports, tools and automation. The role will seek to undertake rationalisation and automation of report output wherever possible and ensure all output is developed in accordance with approved data governance standards and the EBRD Business Glossary.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with Corporate Services and key stakeholders to design and build data sets and products that inform effective decision-making.
  • Advising and influencing on how business data can be presented in order express key messages that can be understood.
  • Production and maintenance of data reports providing operational information required for management information reporting and scorecard performance monitoring.
  • Review new reporting requirements, analyse data requirements and recommend roles and responsibilities for provision of data to the Associate Director.
  • Assist in the technical development and implementation of quantitative and qualitative indicators that seek to measure Corporate Services operational activity and impact in London HQ and Resident Offices.

  • Acquire deep knowledge of Corporate Services data and systems in order to bring efficient and effective changes for better performance, improved accuracy and automation.
  • Maintain active feedback channels to improve the relevance and impact of the date sets and products.
  • Understand the limitations of the existing data architecture, how to compensate (in the short term) and identify actions to close gaps for long term solutions.
  • Identify key operational metrics and drive adoption of reports to provide regular monitoring of operational issues. Using available tooling where possible.
  • Drive continuous improvement, drive the adoption of a ‘single source’ of data to ensure consistency across the data sets.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience undertaking sustainability related monitoring, verification and reporting, preferably in the financial sector.
  • Understanding of data governance and management principles
  • Proven ability to work independently on projects
  • Strong numerical, financial and data analytical skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Technical expertise and familiarity with data management techniques
