JOB DETAIL

Position Overview

The Associate, Talent Acquisition, People and Culture is responsible for providing a range of administrative support to the People and Culture team’s full cycle talent acquisition workstream. They will also gather, track, and maintain data related to the long-term health of UNF’s talent pipeline while providing meaningful support to colleagues on the People & Culture team.

This position is based in Washington, DC (Hybrid schedule).

Essential Functions

  • Execute and track full cycle recruitment administrative tasks for all positions.
  • Effectively identify, screen, and assess talent for members of the Talent Acquisition team and other hiring managers.
  • Coordinate candidate interview scheduling and reference check calls.Initiate background screening for all final candidates.
  • Coordinate with colleagues on the People & Culture team to ensure a seamless transition from the talent search process to onboarding and orientation.
  • Assist with providing updates to hiring managers with pool building updates and important reminders related to talent acquisition.
  • Coordinate college and university recruitment activity schedule with supervision from the Director, Talent Acquisition.
  • Build and maintain an intern alumni database for future candidate pools.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of UNF’s applicant tracking system and other talent acquisition related platforms.
  • Maintain the Talent Acquisition intranet page with useful resources and reminders.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Selection Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality.
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated excellence working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and juggle many projects at once is a must.
  • Strong professional interpersonal skills and diplomacy.
  • Ability to work independently as well as member of a team.
  • Ability to take initiative.
  • Dependable and consistent.
