Purpose of Job

This role is responsible for the creation, implementation and refinement of Talent and Performance Management processes and initiatives. The role will proactively partner with business leaders and HR Business Partners to provide advisory and support services in relation to Talent and Performance Management, and Engagement.

The role exists to provide support for the business to be able to implement these key people processes (Talent Management, Performance Management, Employee Engagement,) in such a way that they enable the business to get the best from their people. This role also supports other development interventions as required.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Contribute to the implementation of the Bank’s overall Talent Management agenda through collaboration with key stakeholders, in line with the broader HR strategy.

Talent review cycle:

  • Key contribution to establishing talent insights with a focus on talent strength and gaps, in order to establish overall talent priorities for EBRD.
  • Ensures on time and full delivery of inputs required for the talent review meetings by collaborating with HR Business Partners, and by providing relevant guidance and training to the business,
  • Supports the preparation of meeting presentations, calibration meetings and the post-review feedback to the business
  • Keeps systems, meeting minutes and records up-to-date with meeting outcomes

Performance management:

  • Ensures the smooth delivery of the performance management cycle, by creating and communicating guidelines towards HR Business Partners, and the business.
  • Provides training support to HR Business Partners and the business on process, system, tools as and when required,
  • Follows up timely delivery and provides reports on completion to HRBPs as and when required
  • Owns the system set-up required for the process delivery and manages AskHR queries related to Performance management
  • Provides summary presentations for calibration meetings and calibration output to Reward

Engagement:

  • Key contribution to establish organisation wide survey cycle and survey management (process)
  • Provides relevant organisation wide communication and training and support to HR Business Partners, Line managers and employee queries (AskHR portal)
  • Owns the system administration of the engagement survey tool with particular focus on survey set-up and employee data management
  • Contributes to the training and communication with the engagement champions and supports the consultation process with the EAG

Other responsibilities:

  • Project manage at least one of the core Talent Processes/initiatives ensuring alignment with other processes and partner with business leaders and HR Business Partners to analyse and interpret data, identify opportunities to improve and partner with the HRBPs to drive the required actions to promote change.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in Talent Development to design, develop and implement innovative learning interventions.
  • Keep abreast of research and best practice in all aspects of Talent Management D&I and Employee Engagement and advise the Bank on translating this into practical actions
  • Manage the relationships with external suppliers to ensure vendor performance and quality as well as value for money.
  • Support organisational change through collaboration with HR colleagues to ensure Employee Engagement and Talent Management elements are woven into HR processes and learning interventions.
  • Work collaboratively across all HR Business Partner teams and Centres of Expertise so that the business receives a fast, accurate and high quality service.
  • Participate in other appropriate activities, projects etc. within HR in a collaborative fashion, in line with a ‘one HR team’ mindset.
  • Undertake a variety of tasks, including administration, logistical activity, and project management necessary to deliver our agenda for the Bank

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferable.
  • Comprehensive and current understanding of all aspects of Talent Management including, Performance, Talent identification and succession planning, D&I and Employee Engagement theory and practice
  • Experience in designing and delivering processes and interventions and supporting the implementation of a Talent Management strategy with an eye on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to influence at all levels
  • Financial sector experience desirable, especially experience in an international corporate environment, demonstrating awareness of cultural complexities, preferably involving the EBRD region.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different groups, with a positive outcome focused ‘can do’ mindset
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and computer literacy essential.
  • Able to work autonomously, effectively managing a range of situations and issues demonstrating excellent problem solving and decision making.
  • Ability to network, persuade and influence. Can build productive relationships internally and externally, interacting with stakeholders at all levels and influencing outcomes.
  • Organised, efficient, able to prioritise and deliver on time to the desired quality.
