Join Our Board of Directors
Are you passionate about philanthropy and making a positive impact on the lives of children in Canada and around the world? Do you have experience in supporting charitable organizations with their private fundraising and board governance?
If so, we invite you to join us in defending and protecting children’s rights as a member of the Board of Directors for Save the Children in Canada.
Save the Children believes every child deserves a future. In Canada and around the world, we give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. We do whatever it takes for children – every day and in times of crisis – transforming their lives and the future we share.
In 2022 we launched a new five-year strategy that focuses on Indigenous Child Rights, Climate Justice, Gender Equality, and Children in Crisis. To support this impact, we are increasing our private fundraising ambitions. By joining our Board of Directors, you will play a vital role in shaping the direction of our organization and advancing our strategy to create a brighter future for children everywhere. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a passionate and dedicated team, sharing your skills and knowledge, and experience to help guide our organization and drive our impact forward. You will also play a key role in developing our strategic vision, overseeing our governance, and building relationships with donors and partners to help us achieve our goals.
If you are ready to take on this rewarding and challenging role, we invite you to apply to join our Board of Directors.
We are particularly interested in candidates with a background and experience that encompasses fundraising, public relations, marketing, and/or donor and stakeholder engagement.
