- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience or 2+ years with an advanced degree in communications, marketing, conservation and/or comparable relevant experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, including effective public speaking and the ability to communicate complex issues both verbally and in written form.
- Excellent organizational and project leadership skills
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Strong project management skills
- Skilled with Microsoft Office tools; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and basic HTML coding appreciated.
- Excellent interpersonal skills requiring knowing when to use courtesy, tact and/or diplomacy to effectively communicate with all constituents.
- Ability to operate with independence, under pressure, to meet deadlines and commitments.
- Ability to set priorities, manage a multitude of details simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, and work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Collaborate effectively and efficiently with a wide range of colleagues, vendors, and other partners.
- Knowledgeable in conservation and current environmental issues facing our planet a plus.
