Job summary
The Content application division in the IT Department (ITD) of the IMF is looking for a contractual Business Analyst/ Sr. Business Analyst (Change Management/Communication). Under the direction of Section Chief, the Business Analyst (Change Mgt/Communication) will evaluate organizational and strategic challenges, offering guidance through organizational development interventions such as conducting assessments, strategic planning, and implementing culture-change and process-driven approaches to boost organizational performance.
The Business Analyst/ Sr. Business Analyst (Change Management/Communication) will collaborate with leaders, departments, and divisions to assess the current organizational structure, relationships, policies, and systems and recommend and facilitate enhancements that align with the organization’s strategic goals.
With extensive experience and proficiency in organizational development, effectiveness, business process analysis, and strategic planning, the candidate independently tackles projects involving multiple organizations and stakeholders. Utilizing advanced professional concepts and organizational objectives, the ideal candidate will address complex organizational development, design, and effectiveness issues. This role frequently deals with highly complex strategic engagements, requiring thoroughly evaluating variables and exercising discretion in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve results.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies and programs aligned with strategic priorities to drive organizational effectiveness, change leadership, training, and business activation.
- Provide training and change management subject matter expertise to transformation projects to support the enablement of business stakeholders and to drive continuous improvement, optimize business processes, and increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead and facilitate the integrated development and implementation of change management plans, including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and training.
- Oversee, manage, and support the design and delivery of training programs for end-users.
- Act as a liaison between the business stakeholders, development teams, and project leaders for change management, communication, and training activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project delivery teams and Subject Matter Experts to identify the training needs of the target audience and close skill gaps.
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to execute communication strategies and plans.
- Provide oversight and guidance for training and enablement projects for internal and external teams.
- Create an environment for the successful delivery of transformation projects, including clarity of services, scope of efforts, priorities, ways of working, partnerships, and feedback channels.
- Enable the design, development, delivery, and management of key project-related communications across an organization’s impacted stakeholders.
- Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize initiatives, determine resource requirements, and establish metrics to measure progress and success.
- Manage projects from end-to-end including project planning, benchmarking, stakeholder identification and analysis, communications, and timely deliverables.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams to leverage internal tools and resources and actively collaborate to communicate learning solutions to various audiences within a highly matrixed organization.
- Research externally for the latest talent technologies and present business cases for continued innovation to internal systems and processes.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with ten (10) years of professional experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or related experience; or a master’s degree with four (4) years of professional experience is required.
- 5+ years of change management/transformation experience
- Experience leading Sitecore XM Cloud based Web Content Management (WCM) implementation for business, customer marketing & externally facing solutions.
- Expert knowledge of instructional design methodologies including but not limited to ADDIE model, SAM, design thinking, and interactive learning experiences.
- Working knowledge of a change management framework
- Expert knowledge of assessing learning and program impact
- Expert knowledge of adult learning theory
- Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
- Experience in driving process improvements.
This is a one-year contractual appointment. Contractual appointments at the IMF are renewable for up to four years of cumulative contractual service, pending incumbent’s performance, budget availability, and continuous business need.
