Call for Applications: Short Term Assignments in UNESCO Field Offices and ADM/ADS

ADM/ADS is seeking candidates for short term assignments designed to provide interim AO support to Field Offices and/or the Section for Administrative Support. These assignments are intended for a time span of 1 to 6 months. Only staff members at General Service (G-6 or G-7) and Professional level (P-1/P-2 and P-3), holding Fixed-Terms positions at HQs or Field Offices are eligible to apply.
The assignments do not entail any expectation of filling a vacant post and do not imply any change in the selected candidate’s current contractual terms, conditions or remuneration packages.
The selected candidates will be responsible for the following tasks:
Duration
The assignment will be from 1 to 6 months. If the selected candidate is required to travel to another Duty Station, the trip will be considered as official mission. For Short Term Assignment missions of more than 30 days, a reduced DSA rate will be applied.
