Scope of Work: The Child Health and Mortality Prevention Surveillance (CHAMPS) aims to counsel pregnant women in the catchment area on the importance of timely antenatal care (ANC) so that they can understand the need and visit for ANC check up on time during their pregnancy. The initiative will be implemented using the existing Pregnancy Surveillance System (PSS) platform under CHAMPS by an existing field team. To implement this activity, we would like to appoint a professional counselor, to conduct an initial assessment of the PSS data collectors using a standard assessment tool to understand their current knowledge and perceptions about ANC. The tool will be developed both in Bengali and English. The counselor will develop a training module as per given outline of the CHAMPS working team that accommodate the level of training required for the field team. The counselor will include certain techniques of communication in the module focusing how efficiently the field team can convey the target information with pregnant women and conduct an intensive training to the implementation team (PSS data collectors).

Required qualifications and experience:
*Master’s degree in Psychology/ Clinical Psychology
*At least ten years’ experience in counseling; counseling experience at the
community level will get preference
*Previous working experience in public health is desirable
