icddr,b invites applications from suitable candidates for consultancy under the Maternal and Child Health Division.

Assignment/Activity: The consultant will contribute to a few research projects under an umbrella project named Advancing Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights. The consultant must comply with the overall Terms of Reference for the consultancy.

Location: Dhaka /Abroad

Expected start date of assignment: September 2023

Duration: 25 days

Scope of work: The consultant will report to his/her respective supervisor and s/he will complete the assigned tasks as planned under the Terms of References (ToR).

The consultant should provide intellectual support in:

• Reviewing research tools and providing feedback
• Designing National Health Facility Assessment Survey for SRHR
• Providing inputs in preparing preliminary reports and research/policy briefs
• Providing inputs in organizing stakeholders’ meetings to share research findings

Expected deliverables:

1. Preliminary results tables for the community-based and facility-based studies
2. Methodology of National Health Facility Assessment for SRHR

Required qualifications and experience:

1. PhD in Demography/Public Health/Statistics;
2. At least 20 years of experience in measurements related to monitoring and evaluation
3. Senior-level exposure in designing national-level surveys and writing research and policy briefs
