DRC has been operating in the Middle East (ME) region for over a decade, running a combination of emergency, livelihood, protection and advocacy programmes through Country Offices (COs) in Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey with a Regional Office (RO) in Amman.

Throughout its nine field offices and a workforce of 450 staff, DRC upholds its main programmatic objectives to provide immediate and life sustaining assistance, to strengthen the protective environment, and to reduce displacement related risks and vulnerabilities by promoting self-reliance at household and community level.

Overall purpose of the role:
We are looking for highly qualified, self-motivated Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) Manager who is able to work with diverse teams of both national and international staff as well as local government authorities, UN agencies, I/NGOs and other partners under difficult, stressful, and sometimes insecure conditions.
The CCCM Manager is responsible for leading the technical planning, implementation and overall representation of CCCM (camp management and camp coordination) – camp activities and/or projects across Yemen’s West Coast program locations. The CCCM Manager is responsible for coordination of services at site and area level, capacity building, community engagement, monitoring displacement trends, and overseeing camp level Shelter and WASH interventions. S/he ensures the establishment of effective and representative camp governance structures and promotion of beneficiary participation in decision making; ensures information and database management, facilitates effective communication within the camp population and local authorities; oversees the operation within the Area of Responsibility, ensure provision of relevant services; safe and organized reception procedures and distribution of assistance to new arrivals; manages data collection and site monitoring, and takes action to fill gaps when minimum standards are not met. S/he liaises closely with Sector Managers within DRC and develops and sustains strong partnerships with stakeholders in IDP camps. S/he supervises a team of DRC camp management staff – contracted national staff and teams of casual and incentive workers. CCCM Manger plays a leading role as the Area Based Coordination in the West Coast.

Experience and technical competencies
Education:
• A degree in political/social sciences, management, development studies, international development, or any relevant university degree.
