The Financial Contract with the EIB stipulates a clause that the Ministry of Health (MoH) and its Project Implementation Unit (PIU) can have Technical Assistance (TA) to support implementation of the Project. Since 18 March 2019, UNOPS has provided TA to the MoH and its PIU, in three key areas: Project Management, Infrastructure, and Procurement. UNOPS also provides TA for updating of business and master plans of the four clinical centres and for preparation of the next reconstruction phase.
Under the supervision of the Head of Programme through Project Manager, the Capacity Building Specialist for Contract Management in Infrastructure will be responsible for provision of technical assistance to the Project/Project Implementation Unit of the Ministry of Health in management of contracts related to reconstruction of the four main Clinical Centres in Serbia.
The Capacity Building Specialist will be responsible for enhancing the contract management capacity of the PIU.
