We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Capacity Development Advisor for an upcoming USAID-funded opportunity in the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region entitled the USAID LAC Regional Fund for Basic Education. The USAID LAC Regional Fund for Basic Education project will work to address existing systemic barriers and improve access and foundational learning outcomes specifically for marginalized and vulnerable groups. This position will be based in the LAC region and is contingent upon award. The Capacity Development Advisor will based in the LAC region, preferably in Guatemala or another country in the LAC region.
Job Summary
The Capacity Development Advisor will lead Objective 2 focused on strengthening the capacity of sub-grant recipients. The Capacity Building Advisor is responsible for the planning and delivery of technical assistance to USAID local partners includingleading capacity assessments, developing institutional strengthening plans, designingcurricula, organizing and coordinating training events, designing mentorship schemes, creating job aids, leading workshops, and designing technical assistance delivery schemes. The Capacity Development Advisor reports to the COPand supervises a team of capacity development officers and consultants.
