Job Title: Casework Coordinator
Job Location: Belfast
Hours: 17.5 per week (2.5 days per week)
Salary: £24,353 per annum based on 35 hours per week (includes market supplement)
Contract Type: Fixed Term to March 2024

If you speak both English and Farsi fluently and want to help us to achieve our mission of supporting people in crisis then this role could be for you!
As a Casework Coordinator, you would provide caring, safe, and empowering support to distressed people in vulnerable situations via our telephone advice / support line. Our clients are usually self referred so you need to understand issues they could be facing and their rights and entitlements. You will be familiar with trauma informed practices to ensure our clients’ situations are approached accordingly.
To be a successful Casework Coordinator, you’ll need:
Fluency in English and Farsi languages
Lived experience / understanding of issues relating to asylum seekers, refugees and vulnerable migrants
Excellent written communication skills in English
Knowledge of the rights and entitlements of asylum seekers, refugees and vulnerable migrants
Ability to remain neutral and respect clients’ confidentiality
Experience of delivering casework with vulnerable clients
IT literacy
