Cleaner and Messenger, B-PEMS AugroJatra Climate Change LOCATION: Dhaka, Bangladesh GROUP: Human Rights, Education, and Empowerment REPORTS TO: Grants and Operations Manager, B-PEMS AugroJatra Climate Change POSITION SUMMARY: The Cleaner cum Messenger will be responsible for providing messenger services and keeping the office premises neat and clean. S/he will support the B-PEMS AugroJatra Climate Change (AugroJatra) project team in their day-to-day activities. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Clean the office premises including floors, staircase, windows, toilets, etc.; Keep the desks, chairs, shelves of the staff members, etc. neat and clean; Clean office furniture and equipment whenever needed; Carry and distribute mail and messages to the project team members; Assist in making photocopies, scanning, and binding works; Assist in preparing meeting supplies and packages; Assist in the room arrangement for in-house and outside events; and Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor. REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Secondary School Certification or higher. Professional: At least three years of experience in a similar position. Skills: Fluent in Bangla; and Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and manage multiple competing priorities and activities. Work Location: B-PEMS project office in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
