The individual contractor will support the Trade, Gender and Development Programme to carry out its activities under the projects “Strengthening Capacity of Women Cross-border Traders in Mozambique” and “Promoting Transformative Gender Equality Agenda in Asia and the Pacific – Advancing gender-responsive trade policy in the Republic of Indonesia”.

Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Chief of the Trade, Gender and Development Programme, the individual contractor will provide support to the work programme on trade, gender and development. He/she will contribute to the activities related to the following projects “Strengthening Capacity of Women Cross-border Traders in Mozambique” and “Promoting Transformative Gender Equality Agenda in Asia and the Pacific – Advancing gender-responsive trade policy in the Republic of Indonesia”. The individual contractor will:
i) Support the wrap up of the Mozambique project by contributing to final project reporting;
ii) Implementing a communication strategy to promote the project outputs to a broader audience in collaboration with the project stakeholders and workshop trainers.
and
i) contribute to the delivery of the online course on trade and gender linkages for Indonesia;
ii) provide support in follow-up activities such as preparation of course diplomas and development of infographics and analysis of course results;
iii) support communications activities in relation to the promotion of the online course and course results, such as dissemination through social media and mailing lists;
iv) in collaboration with the tutors, organize a series of post-course activities with participants to gather feedback, best practices, and assess the overall impacts of the course. This will include the preparation and delivery of surveys and webinars.
v) support the wrap up of the ADB project by contributing to final project reporting;
vi) Implementing a communication strategy to promote the project outputs to a broader audience in collaboration with the project stakeholders and tutors.
Qualifications/special skills
First university degree, Bachelor in International Trade, International Relations, Political Sciences or related areas is required
At least 5 years relevant work experience in development-related issues is required
Experience in education and e-learning is required
Languages
Fluency written and oral in English is required.
