We are inspired by and associated with World Resources Institute (WRI), a global research organization. Currently over 150 researchers are working with WRI India in our offices at Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru.
About Communications Team
The WRI India Core Communications team, based in New Delhi and Mumbai, oversees the strategy and outreach for the Institute in support of WRI India’s leadership, program teams, and centers. Communication is crucial to WRI India’s success in achieving rapid, systemic changes.
Position Details
As a Communications Consultant, you will support the core communications team in building and executing the communications strategy for WRI India’s flagship event – Connect Karo 2024, scheduled for September 11-12, 2024. You will be tasked with executing the communications strategy and engaging with stakeholders before and during the event.
Professional Qualifications & Experience
Master’s Degree in communications or a relevant field with minimum 10-15 years’ experience
Candidates with experience in working with journalism and public relations will be preferred
Candidates experienced in working with think tanks and organizations specializing in climate change will be preferred
The Team Skills We Seek
Highly organized and ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
Strong communication skills, including written and oral communications.
Ability to work in a team and coordinate with multiple team members.
An ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.

 

Salary and Benefits:
Salary shall be commensurate with experience and skills. WRI offers a generous and comprehensive benefits package.
Location: Delhi (non-negotiable)
Duration: 3 months (July-September 2024)
Start Date: July 1st week (non-negotiable)
