Communications and Engagement Intern (100) – Temporary contract of 1 year

Role

ISO/CS is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our Communications and Engagement team. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of communication and engagement activities and projects and gain valuable experience in the field of communications.

Key responsibilities

Support the Communications and Engagement Department :

  • Assist with the development and implementation of communication strategies and plans
  • Create content for ISO’s website, social media platforms, and other communication channels
  • Conduct research on various communication topics and trends
  • Support the communication team with other tasks as needed.
Report to: Head of Communications and Engagement

Qualification and Experience

  • An excellent knowledge of English (C2), working knowledge of French and/or Spanish a plus
  • Curious and flexible
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in communication, international relations, marketing, or a related field
  • Previous internship or work experience in communication is a plus
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing is a plus

  • Strong interpersonal skills and interest in working cooperatively with different teams of people
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills to leverage multicultural and multi-departmental teams’ skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple demanding initiatives concurrently, balancing multiple priorities, working with minimal supervision and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with various levels of seniority (strategy, project managers, Heads of Function/Departments)
  • Ability to conduct meetings with senior members of the business and advise accordingly
  • Team player, independent, flexible and autonomous professional
