Key Responsibilities:

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Technical Programmes are national or sub-regional level programmes implemented by World Vision in multiple geographic locations within a country. TPs are comprised of evidence-based practices and models previously identified, defined, prioritised through a strategic process, and documented in a Technical Approach (TA). TPs are designed to ensure National Offices (NOs) achieve World Vision’s mission, and the NO strategy, which includes the highest impact for the well-being of children, in accordance with relevant TA and NO strategic objectives and integration of relevant supporting approaches (SA). The Community Development Facilitator This position plays a key role in facilitating the process of transformation, ad covers the different stages during the Design, Implementation, and Phase-out/ Transition of Area Programmes.

She/he will be working with the AP team and Technical Programme Officer to establish and maintain the program quality. This person will be representing WVI-C to technical networks at the district level and engaging in advocacy initiatives that are relevant to TP objectives, using credible M&E and evidence from TP implementation, and providing capacity building to the community stakeholder and project partners.

 

She/he plays a key role in supporting the New AP Parameter and ensuring that World Vision Development Programme Approach (DPA) brings more sustained welwell-being children. This role will initiate approaches for effective collaboration with partners, identifying and mobilizing local partners to effectively implement the shared projects.

 

During transition phase, the role is required to spend more time in providing coaching and mentoring to coma munity group (decrease time for TP implementation) which is the reflection to the ownership of the community over the CWB development.

 

II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Uphold WVI Vision, Mission, Identity, and Core Values while working as an agent of transformation for Child well-being (CWB).
  • Effective Partnership – identify, assess and build capacity to local partners to ensure the effectiveness of shared projects for CWB.
  • Implementation – work with TPO and based on learning, adjust targeting to address local child vulnerability issues and ensure the effectiveness of TP implementation in achieving CWB outcomes.
  • Capacity building and ownership of community partners – provide capacity building to community partners including coaching and mentoring to ensure they are capable to initiate, plan, implement and monitor the projects.
  • Registered Child and Most Venerable Children inclusion – RC and MVC with age-appropriate are included in the TP addressing to their vulnerabilities.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation – implement monitoring tools based on Logframe, in collaboration with local partners.

 

III. REQUIREMENTS:

 

As part of the World Vision International-Cambodia mandate requirements for new staff, all candidates who are offered jobs are required to produce a Criminal check prior to the date of joining the organization.

 

Experience and Knowledge in Nutrition, Education, Protection and Participation Experience building and maintaining relationships with local government and NGO partners and stakeholders Experience in handling training and workshops for groups and communities (including coaching and mentoring). Experience in mobilizing resources and people to be ownership on children development.
