Community Education Coordinator
Location: British Red Cross, Staffordshire Technology Park, Parker Court, Stafford ST18 0WP.
Hours: 35 per week
Fixed Term contract to May 2024 (Maternity cover position)
Salary: £22,781 to £23,745 dependent on experience
Could you ensure our community education service is delivered effectively to better equip adults and young people to cope in a crisis?
As a Community Education Coordinator, you will be managing the allocation of resources and volunteers in the area to increase the British Red Cross geographical footprint and capacity within communities. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact, through facilitated learning in your community.
Our education offer has been developed to help those with an increased risk of experiencing a crisis. Our service has been designed to deliver vital skills which will help develop individual and community resilience.

A day in the life of a Community Education Coordinator:

You will manage and support the implementation of partnerships and externally funded projects.
You will have accountability for all aspects of the Community Education blended learning offer for your area and ensure the education delivery is consistent and at the appropriate quality standard.

To be a successful Community Education Coordinator:

Do you have a recognised education, training or facilitation qualification (or equivalent by experience) and excellent coaching and motivational skills?
Are you experienced in recruiting, selecting, managing, and supporting volunteers?
Do you have experience of facilitated learning and adapting nationally approved learning content to meet user needs?
