Plan has been working in Cox Bazar to respond to the Rohingya refugee influx since 24 September 2017 implementing the following key objectives: 1. Ensure girls and boys affected by the crisis are protected from violence, abuse, neglect and exploitation through appropriate prevention and response interventions in line with minimum standards. 2. Reduce the transmission of disease from fees to mouth through the promotion of good hygiene practice and the reduction of health risks related to poor sanitation 3. Restore and increase access to safe quality and inclusive educational opportunities for refugee children and adolescents (girls and boys) affected by the Rohingya crisis.

The role:
The Consortium Manager leads and supports multi-year resilience project consortium of Education Can Not Work- Bangladesh program following donor and PII compliance and policies. S/he accountable for timely delivery of commitments as agreed that include ensure achievement of result with quality and adherent to requirement & compliance applicable for this particular donor contract. The Consortium Manager will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the work of the project at the country level, and ensure an integrated, holistic approach in project implementation among consortium partners in the achievement of project outcomes. S/he will be specifically responsible to facilitate programming in joint areas of operation with a focus on cross-learning, downward accountability, monitoring integration aspects and producing consolidated narrative reports. The Consortium PM provides analysis and information to the consortium’s top management for overall strategic direction.
What we’re looking for:
University degree in Education, Social Sciences or related fields. Good knowledge and understanding of Do No Harm principles and other humanitarian standards, including INEE minimum standards. Having 7 to 10 years of experience (at least 4-5 years in a managerial role) in education and Child protection sector having knowledge and understanding of key EiE, CPiE issues, and livelihood. Well planned, organized and comfortable to lead on project implementation and demonstrates initiative in problem-solving and decision making. Ability to communicate clearly and sensitively with internal and external stakeholders as a representative of Plan. This includes effective negotiation and representation skills. Strong leadership skills, able to support and train staff and to work with disaster affected communities in a sensitive and participatory manner. Experience of designing and delivering training and other capacity building initiatives with a variety of audiences. A positive and friendly personality who collaborates well with others, works with trustworthiness and integrity and has a clear commitment to Plan’s core values and humanitarian principles. Strong project management, budget management and analysis skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and power-point. Demonstrates awareness and sensitivity to gender and diversity. Has experience and the ability to live and work in diverse cultural contexts in a culturally appropriate manner. Has a capacity to make accurate self-assessment particularly in high stress and high security contexts. An understanding of child safeguarding and equality for girls. Fluency in English and Bangla (both reading and writing). Previous experience of managing consortium relationship and partner management. Ability to prepare donor reports independently. Prior experience of working in greater Chottogram Division. Knowledge of Chittagonian or Rohingya. Experience in humanitarian settings, particularly with refugees or IDPs. Experience of conducting education and CP needs assessments. Knowledge of Plan policies and procedures, Sphere and the Red Cross/NGO Code of Conduct. Experience in managing humanitarian projects in EiE or CPiE

Salary Package for this role is BDT. 203,712 fixed monthly Cost to the company. Along with other benefits i.e., hospitalization benefit for spouse and children, contributory provident fund, Festival Bonus, leave, group insurance and yearly medical check-up for employee.

Project duration up to 30th June 2025 and selected candidate will get initially one-year contract for this position and highly possibility for extension based on performance.
