All three accessible on-line consultations are completed as planned by 7 October 2023 compiling inputs from civil society from all regions on support and care systems. Timely and quality delivery of outputs. Inputs from consultations contribute to the quality of the report, and identifies good practices. Inputs include recommendations for States, development actors and other stakeholders. Final inputs incorporate project Coordinator’s comments.

Duties and Responsibilities
The consultant will conduct three consultations in two segments each for three regions to inform a report mandated by the Human Rights Council. Tasks include:
• Design of six 2-hr sessions (4hrs of design per session)
• Set-up and follow up (1 hr per session)
• Facilitation of sessions 1 & 2 (Latin America and Spain) in Spanish
• Facilitation of sessions 3 & 4 Anglo America, Africa and Europe in English (with interpretation to French)
• Facilitation of sessions 5 & 6 Central Asia, South Asia and Pacific in English
• Four preparation calls with coordinators (1hr each)
• Logistic coordination (10 hrs)
• CART Spanish – Sessions 1 & 2
• CART French – Sessions 3 & 4
• CART English – Sessions 3, 4, 5 & 6
• Interpreters English-French for sessions 3 & 4 (2 interpreters per session)
• ISL interpreters to Spanish – Sessions 1 & 2 (2 interpreters per session)
• ISL interpreters to English – Sessions 3, 4, 5 & 6 (2 interpreters per session)
• Online platform availability (preferably Zoom for accessibility purposes)
Qualifications/special skills
Advanced degree in Economics, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Law or other disciplines related to Public Policy
5 years of experience working on training and on-line consultations with persons with disabilities. Specific expertise on support and care systems in connection to disability desired.
Languages
English and Spanish are required.
