Organizational Setting
The Division of Energy Planning and Nuclear Information and Knowledge comprises the Planning and Economic Studies Section, Nuclear Knowledge Management Section and the Nuclear Information Section. The Division is responsible for strengthening capacities in energy and nuclear power planning, building capacities to manage nuclear knowledge and develop nuclear workforce and provide knowledge management and human resource development services to interested member states, and to procure and provide printed and electronic information in the area of nuclear science and technology. The Nuclear Knowledge Management Section assists Member States by developing methodology and guidance documents in nuclear knowledge management and human resource development; implementing knowledge management and human resource development initiatives; facilitating sustainable education, training and information exchange in nuclear science and technology; and assisting Member States in maintaining and preserving nuclear knowledge and developing nuclear workforce. Main Purpose
To advise the International Atomic Energy Agency on the organization of the International Conference on Nuclear Knowledge Management and Human Resources Development to be held on 1-5 July 2024.

Remuneration The remuneration for this consultancy is a daily fee of up to a maximum of € 220, based on qualifications and experience. In case duty travel is required within the assignment, a daily subsistence allowance (DSA) and travel costs are provided. Health coverage and pension fund are the responsibility of the incumbent. |
