• Supported the lead trainer in developing a full draft of four (4) specialized leadership development programs, facilitator guides, participant workbooks, experiment templates, pre/post-tests, and associated materials as per discussions with the lead trainer.
• Effectively co-delivered four (4) specialized leadership development programs, specifically designed to cater to senior managers/commanders and mid-level managers/commanders.
• Effectively co-delivered a coaching program tailored for selected mid-level and/or senior managers/commanders in line with discussions and coordination with the lead trainer.

Duties and Responsibilities
The selected consultant will be entrusted with the following core responsibilities:
1. Program Co-Delivery: Together with a lead trainer for leadership development and coaching program (hereinafter ‘the lead trainer’), the consultant will co-deliver two (2) specialized leadership programs. Each program will comprise two (2) distinct phases designed to build progressively upon participants’ leadership competencies.
-Complexity Leadership program for senior-level managers/commanders; and
-Police Ethical Leadership program for mid-level managers/commanders.
2. Cohort Engagement: Together with the lead trainer, the consultant will oversee two separate cohorts of law enforcement officers, in mid-level and senior managers/commanders, carefully selected for their roles in tackling transnational organized crime. The programs will be strategically structured to accommodate the diverse backgrounds and operational contexts of these cohorts, ensuring maximum relevance and applicability.
3. Coaching: The consultant will support the lead trainer in the delivering of personalized coaching to selected group of mid and/ or senior-level leaders within the law enforcement agencies. his coaching will be customized to tackle the unique leadership challenges faced at upper command levels, thereby facilitating effective decision-making, strategic planning, and interagency coordination.
4. Interactive Learning: The consultant will assist the lead trainer to ensure interactive and experiential learning methodologies, fostering participant engagement, active problem-solving, and peer learning. Practical exercises, group discussions, and role-playing scenarios will be employed to immerse participants in the complexities of transnational organized crime prevention and border security.
Qualifications/special skills
Education
An advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in education, law, political science, instructional design, or any other relevant discipline, is required. A first level university degree in similar fields in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree
Work Experience
-A minimum of 5 years of prior work experience in the field of educational and organizational leadership
Knowledge and experience in delivering or providing assistance for coaching programs is required;
-Experience working in police force or law enforcement is required;
-Experience working with police, law enforcement, or national governments in Southeast Asia and the Pacific is required;
-Computer literacy, including proficiency in document design (MS Word or Google Docs), databases maintenance (MS Excel or Google Sheets) and visual presentations (MS PowerPoint or other tools) is desirable;
Languages
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this position, fluency in English, with excellent drafting and communication skills, is required. Knowledge of another United Nations official language is an advantage.
