Assignment/Activity: The main goal of this consultancy is to provide high-level guidance for policy inputs on pediatric NCD service delivery model through government primary health care systems. The overall objective of the policy guidelines for study and scaling up of integrating pediatric NCD service delivery model at primary health care (PHC) facilities.

Scope of work:
The consultant will contribute to the project providing leadership and advisory supports for the policy components of the study, identifying policy gaps and providing guidelines for policy and developing a policy brief for health policy development based on analyzed guidelines and generating a comprehensive policy report summarizing the findings and policy recommendations for scaling up, based on the findings of the implementation.
Specific Responsibilities:
Major responsibilities would include the following-

The specific responsibilities of the study are:
- To conduct policy analysis to evaluate existing policies on pediatric NCDs, identify gaps in the health service delivery system.
- To collaborate with national and institutional bodies such as DGHS, MOHFW, and icddr,b to facilitate policy advocacy workshops and ensure effective stakeholder engagement.
- To identify policy gaps, and prioritize actionable recommendations for scaling up interventions.
- To develop an evidence-based policy brief featuring key recommendations, supported by infographics, to enhance understanding and engagement with policymakers.
- Provide leadership and advisory support for the policy components of the study.
- Identify policy gaps and provide guidelines for policy development.
- Develop a policy brief for health policy development based on analyzed guidelines.
- Generate a comprehensive policy report summarizing findings and policy recommendations for scaling up, based on the findings of the implementation.
Expected deliverables:
- Provide leadership and advisory support for the policy components of the study.
- Identify gaps and provide guidelines for policy development.
- Develop a policy brief for health policy development based on analyzed guidelines.
- Train staff and community members to ensure adherence to policy guidelines during implementation.
- Generate a comprehensive policy report summarizing findings and policy recommendations for scaling up, based on the findings of the implementation
- Organize meetings with the PI and research team.
Required qualifications and experience:
- The consultant must have a PhD Degree in Public Administration/Public Health Administration/ Health Policy
- She/ he must have over 10 years of experience in conducting health policy evaluation and policy analysis
- Track record in conducting policy research.
- Expert in developing policy guidelines and its modeling.
- At least 20 publications in peer-reviewed journal while at least 5 articles as lead author.
