PURPOSE
Amnesty International is seeking a highly skilled and motivated consultant to join our campaign for a convention on the rights of older persons. The consultant would work closely with the Crisis Response Programme, the International Advocacy Team (IAT), and Amnesty International section offices around the world.
The consultant’s primary focus will be responsible for expanding our advocacy and section engagement on the rights of older persons, including by conducting in-person meetings with national governments and international organizations, organizing events to promote the awareness of older persons’ rights, and otherwise distributing Amnesty International campaigning and communications materials.
This consultancy is remote, with flexibility on location, but preference will be given to candidates based in Europe, since that will likely be the focus of the consultancy’s work. The consultancy requires travel.
Consultancy start and end date: This is expected to be a six-month consultancy, for a discrete research project.
Deadline for all applications: 24th October 2023
Rate: € 300 per day
