The Opportunity:

  • Coordinate and implement the “EU CAPAZ PROGRAM” strategy, ensuring its efficiency and the quality of results at district level.
  • Support and supervise the activities of the Mentors and Facilitators of the “EU CAPAZ PROGRAM” in terms of SAFE SPACES and GIRL’S RETENTION IN SCHOOLS.
  • Lead the work of awareness raising among community leaders and Advocacy with local government authorities, aiming to embrace the Project’s approaches for. RETAINING GIRLS AT SCHOOL and creating SAFE SPACES in the community for the implementation of the “EU CAPAZ PROGRAM”.
  • Develop community mobilization work plans to be implemented by Mentors and Facilitators at district level, respecting local culture and social norms.
  • Carry out technical supervision of the work of Mentors and Facilitators, aiming to stimulate their performance.
  • Ensure and report the quality and impact of the “EU CAPAZ PROGRAM” at district level.
  • Document good practices in the work of Mentors and Facilitators carried out at the level of SAFE SPACES, GIRL’S RETENTION AT SCHOOL and SCHOOL OF PARTNERS.

About you:

  • Degree in Education, Sociology, Health Sciences or other related areas, combined with relevant professional experience;
  • Have excellent communication skills, teamwork, and interpersonal skills;
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in implementing girls’ empowerment and safeguarding projects;
  • Have adaptability, resilience and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Have a passion for improving girls’ empowerment to decide on their education, sexual and reproductive health, reducing early marriages, discrimination and gender-based violence.
