Credit Analyst/Senior Credit Analyst

NIB is now seeking a

CREDIT ANALYST/SENIOR CREDIT ANALYST

to join the 1st Line Analysis & Screening unit in the Lending Department.

Responsibilities: 

• Analysing comprehensively credit risk of your portfolio of customers

• Preparing credit risk analysis, assessing business and financial risk and proposing an internal credit risk rating

• Arguing your credit analysis in the credit committee

• Participating in customer due diligence meetings

• Performing credit risk research on applicable industries

• Contributing to ongoing development of your and your colleagues’ work

We are looking for someone who: 

• Has a master’s degree in finance, economics, or another related field

• Has relevant (minimum 3-5 years) experience in a similar or closely related role. Experience from complex cases, such as Structured or Project Finance, would be an asset

• Is able to separate big issues from small ones

• Has personal qualities like open-mindedness, flexibility, good interpersonal and organisational skills and a genuine interest in learning

• Is fluent in English and has working proficiency of at least one NIB member country (Nordic or Baltic) language. Additional language skills in Nordic/Baltic languages are considered as an advantage.

• Has aptitude for numbers and attention to details

• Is comfortable using Microsoft office tools, primarily Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Credit analysis utilises top of the line credit analysis methodologies from S&P. We have a team of about dozen credit analysts. We have a good combination of nationalities, skills and seniority in our team.
