Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the ASYCUDA Regional Coordinator for CEE and Central Asia, the incumbent will undertake the following duties: Support the UNCTAD International staff in the adaptation and customisation of electronic declarations for e-commerce operators (ASYPCD and ASYPAP) to Mongolia national requirements. Translation of the ASYPCD and ASYPAP screens, messages and reports into the national language(s)/ alphabet(s); Definition/amendment of the Customs’ and Post processing-flows related to the clearance of postal parcels, covering all business processes for inbound and outbound mail. Definition/amendment of the Customs’ and Express carriers’ processing-flows. Support the piloting of ASYPCD and ASYPAP components
Qualifications/special skills
First level degree in public administration, international trade, Customs, law, economics or related area is required. Minimum 2 years Experience of dealing with customs and trade facilitation is required. Experience of dealing with advance cargo information and passengers customs declarations is required Experience of working in Customs Administration and in international environment with international standards is desirable
Languages
Fluency oral and written in English is required
