You’ll bring technical expertise and exceptional collaboration skills to ensure that Save the Children (SCA) programs are of high quality and deliver impact. Your knowledge, experience, and energy will help position SCA as a leader in delivering tangible and measurable outcomes.

SAVE THE CHILDREN IS NO ORDINARY NOT-FOR-PROFIT.

We’re no ordinary not-for-profit. We’re ambitious, creative and outspoken. We stand up for children’s rights. We want all children to be educated, healthy, and live free from violence. We run programs in Australia and overseas, and if there’s a disaster – like an earthquake, drought or conflict – we’re there on the ground.

WHERE YOU COME IN

You’ll support SCA international ANCP programs to drive impact by harnessing data and emerging technologies to inform and improve outcomes. Working collaboratively with Country Offices, you’ll contribute to SCA implementing relevant, evidence-based initiatives with impact through:

  1. Boosting and mainstreaming the use of data-driven insights in decision-making processes within ANCP-supported initiatives.
  2. Pioneering the use of emerging technologies to generate innovative solutions and streamline processes and workflows.
  3. Enhancing transparency and efficacy of project reporting through data visualisation and advanced analytics.
  4. Building partner data and innovation capacity.

You’ll make a difference by:

  • Providing Country Offices with technical assistance on data analysis techniques to derive actionable insights from departmental and project data, offering tailored recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Exploring and implementing emerging technologies to augment the capabilities of the technical advisory team, driving innovative problem-solving and decision-making processes.
  • Facilitating learning opportunities within the team to build capacity around data analysis, data engineering, and technology usage.

You’ll be part of our International Programs team, working closely with program management, and technical colleagues and reporting to our Head of Program Quality and Impact.

This is a 12 month, full-time maximum term position based in any location in the Australia/Pacific time zone.
