Project Context and Scope
Under the overall supervision of the Programme Manager and the direct supervision of the Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant, the Data Analyst will be tasked with collecting and analyzing data pertaining to the Protection division’s projects’ activities. This will involve conducting various surveys, both in person and via phone calls.

Tasks to be performed under this contract

• Conduct survey via phone or in person, according to the operational plan.
• Assist in facilitating focus group discussions.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of collected data.
• Report on a daily basis on the activities conducted and the realities/issues encountered and make relevant recommendations.
• Assist in providing analysis for the data collected.
• Draft narrative report about the data collected.
• Advise and provide recommendations to the questionnaires and modalities of the data collection on the realities of the field work (where applicable).
• Adhere to IOM’s Data Protection Principles, safeguarding the confidentiality of all collected data.
• Perform other duties as they might be assigned.

Education
  • A bachelor’s degree in law, business administration, Social Science or other relevant field with one year experience.
Languages
  • fluency in English and Arabic is required.
IOM’s official languages are English, French and Spanish.
Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
