Job Summary
The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) seeks a qualified candidate to serve as a Data Coordinator I/II in its Development Strategies and Governance Unit. This position is a one-year, renewable appointment, based in its Bhubaneswar Office, India. The position would require frequent travel and extended stay in different parts of Odisha and rural India. The selected candidate will assist IFPRI’s senior research staff and officials from the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment, Government of Odisha, in data management. This role involves creating processes for centralized management of diverse large datasets, maintaining data management protocols, ensuring adherence to data governance standards, and supporting a team of research analysts. The Data Coordinator I/II will also contribute to proactive quantitative analysis using survey data, as well as delivering data summaries and insights in response to stakeholder inquiries. Interested applicants must have work authorization to work in India.
The final grade level will be determined by level of education and years of relevant work experience.
