– To support the Property Management Unit, Inventory and Warehouse Management to enter data during the end year physical count exercise.
– To support Property Management Unit – PP&E to enter data of the physical verification of each year from October to December. ECA manages around capitalised (Assets) and non- capitalised equipment (serialised equipment)

Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Under the general guidance of the Chief of Section and the direct supervision of each Sub- Unit Supervisors, the data entry clerks will be assigned to perform the following tasks:
Inventory and Warehouse Management
1. Daily, compile the completed count stock items on spread sheet and submit it to the Supervisor for approval.
2. Enter data as reported by the physical count team and approved by the supervisor of I/W M.
3. Cross check and verify the Umoja data against the report provided by the physical count team.
4. Report and record unfound and disposable stock items.
5. Perform any other activity as directed by the Supervisor of the I/W M
Property, Plant & Equipment (PP&E)
1. Daily, compile the completed verified properties on spread sheet and submit it to the Supervisor for approval.
2. Enter data as reported by the physical verification team and approved by the supervisor of PP&E.
3. Cross check and verify the Umoja against the report provided by the physical verification Team.
4. Report on the discrepancies and submit it to the Supervisor for decision.
Qualifications/special skills
High school diploma, micro-soft applications i.e., excel application and data management is
required. Additional IT education, strong data entry and data management experience is an
asset.
At least five years of experience in Supply Management and Logistics area.
Languages
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in oral and written English is required. Excellent English writing ability is a must. Knowledge of French or another official United Nations language is an advantage.
