Internship Opportunity: Ashoka Diaspora Networks Team

Position Summary: Join the pioneering team at Ashoka that’s building bridges with global diaspora communities. As an intern with the Ashoka Diaspora Networks team, you will delve into the vibrant interplay between social entrepreneurship, changemaking and diaspora dynamics. You’ll contribute to projects that not only bolster the work of Ashoka Fellows but also engage with diaspora leaders and organizations to enhance their societal impact across both their countries of heritage and their countries of residence.

MUST BE BASED IN SPAIN AND ENROLLED IN A UNIVERSITY

Key Responsibilities:

• CRM Database Management:

• Maintain and update the team’s CRM database to ensure accurate tracking of interactions with diaspora leaders, groups, and organizations.
• Assist in the analysis of CRM data to identify trends and opportunities for deeper engagement with the diaspora community.

• Research on Diaspora Engagement and Changemakers:

• Conduct targeted research to identify influential diaspora changemakers and outline best practices for diaspora engagement.
• Compile and synthesize findings into actionable insights for the team to inform strategy and programming.

• Lead Generation for Potential Partners:

• Identify and profile potential partners from within the diaspora communities that align with Ashoka’s vision and values.
• Create a pipeline of leads for the team to explore for collaboration, funding, and community-building initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program, with preferences for the following fields: international relations, social sciences, business, or a related field.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong research abilities and analytical thinking.
• Proficiency in database management and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
• Passion for social change and an affinity for Ashoka’s mission of “Everyone a Changemaker.”

Location: This opportunity is available for remote work or in Ashoka’s officein Madrid
