Established in Vietnam since 2005, PSI has used social marketing techniques to fill system gaps and motivate improved healthy behaviors and best practices related to HIV/AIDS, TB, malaria, non-communicable diseases, reproductive health, and public health emergency responses. PSI Vietnam aims to strengthen the national health system using interventions that focus on building the private sector’s capacity and commitment to providing affordable and quality health products and services.
PSI seeks a Deputy Chief of Party that will work with the Chief of Party to provide oversight for overall project implementation, ensuring project deliverables are delivered on time and within budget for a multiple-year USAID Local Health Security Strengthening Project in Vietnam. Supervise personnel. Ensure the project is led in coordination and collaboration with the PSI network member leadership team, government officials, and other national stakeholders in the country where the project is implemented. Support alignment of the project with PSI’s global strategic priorities, the platform’s priorities, and as well as national and regional priorities, strategies, policies, and interventions. Ensure the project operates with minimal financial, contractual, and reputational risk.
