Ready to put your creativity and operational skills to work for a cause that matters? Join our dynamic Individual Giving team as a Donor Acquisition Consultant. We’re looking for motivated individuals who want to engage with donors, create compelling content, and contribute to meaningful projects that support Palestine Refugees. Working under the supervision of the Donor Engagement Officer (Individual Giving) the Donor Acquisition Consultant will be responsible for developing and implementing digital fundraising strategies, with the objective of acquiring and retaining individual donors at a global level. To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a variety of competencies, including proficiency in managing and measuring digital channels, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, creative content execution skills, and knowledge of the global fundraising landscape and trends. The consultant plays a critical role in driving the success of UNRWA’s digital fundraising activities and will be performing the following tasks: -Contribute to the development and implementation of fundraising strategies designed to acquire, retain, and build long-term partnerships with individual donors, maximizing their lifetime value and return on investment. -Execute fundraising campaigns, including emergency fundraising, across online and offline channels, including but not limited to website, display and search advertising, social media, email marketing, television, online video stream, etc. -Explore and implement new opportunities for donor acquisition and engagement, constantly identifying opportunities to strengthen both one-time and recurring donations. -Build and grow programmes for middle-donors and monthly givers, fostering stronger connections and greater commitment. -In collaboration with the content team, create engaging visual and written content for various channels. -Working with the CRM team, manage the individual donor database, monitor Individual Giving performance, and provide data and insights into key donor segments to inform acquisition and retention strategies. -Track, analyze, and report on cross-platform campaign performance, and use insights to optimize and improve campaign performance and ROI. -Create and manage media plans for digital marketing activities. -Establish and manage partnerships with digital partners and key stakeholders, influencers, and vendors to maximize exposure and reach. -Collaborate with internal and external content contributors and cross-functional teams to help define content goals and to produce high-quality content for digital channels that engages donors globally. -Identify key influencers and manage influencer marketing campaigns to meet fundraising objectives. -Research, test, and launch new digital channels that align with UNRWA’s fundraising strategy. -Stay up to date with the latest digital trends and best practices and make recommendations for improvements. -Undertake other duties and special projects to support the Private Partnerships team. -Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/special skills
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE -Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, business administration, communications, social sciences, international relations, or a related discipline. -At least 04 years of relevant work experience , including a minimum of two continuous years of relevant international experience outside UNRWA, and outside the country(s) of which the candidate is a national or holds citizenship, a passport or a national identity number. Application with an Advanced degree with 2 years of experience may also be considered. -Experience in managing digital marketing campaigns across channels (Google, Meta, YouTube, etc.) and Search Engine Marketing (SEO). -Experience in tracking and analyzing performance data in Google Analytics. -Experience in content creation for fundraising for online and offline channels. -Strong knowledge of marketing funnels.
