Under the supervision of the Regional Counter-Cybercrime Coordinator in coordination with the Associate Cybercrime Programme Officer, the consultant will provide a programmed series of activities to the Development of eLearning modules on Cybercrime and Cryptocurrencies Investigation.
The purpose of this assignment is to develop and deliver the content of the eLearning modules on Cryptocurrencies for UNODC eLearning Platform. The incumbent will also be required to contribute to the delivery of the technical material as required according to the project framework and based on the agreed timeline and perform any other duties as assigned by the Programme Officer.
Specific tasks to be performed by the consultant:
• Create engaging and interactive e-learning and simulations for use on multiple devices.
• Create engaging learning content layout designs.
• Develop visualizing graphics and innovative ideas for e-Learning resources.
• Discuss ideas for images, graphics, and animations with team members before applying them in the development.
• Prepare and edit audio/video media.
• Develop highly visual and interactive learning content based upon storyboards.
• Communicate effectively with the content developer team.
• Maintain project documentation and course folders during the project lifecycle.
• Ensures data security and integrity.

Duties and Responsibilities
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Global Programme on Cybercrime (GLOX76) supports countries in strengthening capacities to prevent and combat cybercrime and has a particular focus on capacities in the areas of cybercrime and abuse prevention, cybercrime investigations and electronic evidence, and international cooperation in criminal matters involving electronic evidence.
Qualifications/special skills
– An advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in the fields of education, IT, public administration, mass communication, design, communication, international development, or related field is required. A first-level university degree OR equivalent academic education, professional training with certification from recognized international/national institutions, in combination with additional two years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
– Five years of overall professional experience in developing LMA, learning and development, or eLearning consulting is required.
– Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning environments is required.
– Proven experience in developing eLearning modules is required.
– Experience with a Learning Management System is desirable.
– Experience in cryptocurrency or cybercrime is desirable.
– Previous working experience with UN agencies and official authorities is desirable.

Languages
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this position, fluency in English, with excellent drafting and communication skills, is required. Knowledge of another United Nations official language, is an advantage.
