Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead curriculum development for on-line training and learning ensuring that it comprises, illustrated narrative, audio-commented presentations, twenty quizzes per module and additional reading.
• Work with the multimedia consultant for the timely dissemination of announcements publication of the audio-commented multimedia course material on the web;
• Deploy modules per lessons on the digital training platform
• Coordinate the translation of courses material
• Provide technical backstopping to students
• develop a training monitoring and analysis tool based on learner’s satisfaction surveys, proficiency testing, job performance, and stakeholders’ feedback
• Prepare analytical report for all digital training organised
• prepare quarterly and annual report of digital training implemented
• work within tight timelines and be able to innovate and up-level content using existing e-learning and graphic development tools.
Qualifications/special skills
Master’s degree or equivalent in Information system development and network, development or e-Learning or related field is required. A first-level university degree in combination of two years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience at national or regional level in information system development, designing, developing and administering training programs in Moodle environment or related is required. Experience leading digital learning course development will be an advantage
Languages
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this consultancy fluency in one of the working languages of the UN Secretariat, English or French is required. Knowledge of the other is an advantage.
