IFC’s Human Resources (HR) Department provides strategic partnership to the business to develop and implement workforce strategies. The HR department includes three Centers of Expertise (COEs) — Strategy & Organizational Effectiveness, Global Talent Acquisition & Mobility, and Talent & Incentives – and two Client Services teams providing support to HQ and regions.  

IFC is seeking an Extended Term (ET) Consultant to be based in Washington, DC to manage data and analytics for recruitment and other key HR programs, including assessing business and staffing trends and translating them into HR solutions that will support an efficient and effective delivery model. The position will report to the Principal HR Officer, Employment Framework and Recruitment.

Duties and Accountabilities:
•  Able to gain a deep understanding of the Recruitment and Global Mobility services, including policies, processes, and system configurations/designs, to support streamlining and automation through digital transformation initiatives.
•  Analyze and interpret technical aspects of process steps, including upstream inputs and downstream impacts, to provide valuable insights to the IT team for creating the Business Requirements Document.
•  Conduct detailed business process analysis meetings with business users, documenting system processes in both diagrammatic and textual formats. Ensure accurate documentation of as-is process maps and other relevant information to address business needs effectively.
•  Continuously monitor the delivery and impact of Recruitment and Global Mobility services by designing, implementing, and analyzing surveys, scorecards, and other measurement tools.
•  Proactively gather, analyze, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data, preparing relevant reports, dashboards, and presentations. Generate insights to support IFC’s business objectives and contribute to change management and knowledge management efforts.
•  Develop and enhance HR analytics tools and resources to support efficient and effective Recruitment and Global Mobility services. This includes creating satisfaction surveys, scorecards, reports, instructional guides, process maps, data visualizations, and other knowledge products.
•  Perform sentiment analysis on qualitative data, such as client and staff feedback, to gauge overall satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
•  Proactively monitor internal and external Recruitment and Mobility trends, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities for the delivery model, programs, processes, and metrics in alignment with IFC’s talent strategy.
•  Foster a data-driven culture within the team by implementing effective data quality controls to ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
•  Develop data models and analytical frameworks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Recruitment and Global Mobility services.
•  Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
•  Liaise with vendors as required.

 

Selection Criteria

•  Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational/Industrial Psychology, Statistics or related field and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a global company or organization; or Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
•  Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) Certification is a plus.
•  Client Understanding and Advising: Looks at issues from the client’s perspective and advocates for clients within their own area, as well as urges others to focus on meeting client needs. Works with others across the VPU to define client needs and develop the best approach to meet client needs.
•  Strong and proven experience in documenting business requirements, use cases, functional and non-functional requirements, traceability matrix, etc.
Strong facilitation skills to lead requirements elicitation workshops planning and preparation, presentation, knowledge capture and follow-up.
•  Proven experience in HR or data analytics, including demonstrated ability to conduct research and analysis, data mining, and report generation.
•  Good narrative grasp of ‘the story behind the numbers’ and ability to articulate issues and recommend solutions to aid management in decision-making;
•  Strong knowledge of HR information systems, tools, and processes is an asset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
•  Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills in English, ability to translate complex data for various audiences, and experience preparing client-ready materials.
•  Strong quality control and client-service orientation and attention to detail.
•  Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting work priorities, demands, and tight deadlines.
•  Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to articulate issues and recommend solutions.
•  High integrity, tact, and discretion when managing sensitive and confidential information.
